About Dr. Lindsay Harris
Dr. Lindsay Harris was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia where she attended Savannah Christian Preparatory School. She graduated cum laude from Auburn University with a degree in Biomedical Sciences. During her time at Auburn, she was a student ambassador for the College of Science and Mathematics, and an active member of multiple campus organizations including her sorority. Dr. Harris continued her education at the Dental College of Georgia (formerly known as the Medical College of Georgia) where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD). Upon graduation she received the Alston Jones McCaslin, V Award for excellence in pediatric dentistry. During dental school, she devoted much of her time to community service providing dental care to Georgia war veterans and volunteering for Give Kids a Smile. She was also involved with the Give a Smile foundation among other campus organizations.
Dr. Harris stays active in organized dentistry through her memberships in the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the Southeastern District Dental Society. She believes in patient-focused dentistry and strives to provide patients with personalized dental care. She enjoys working with patients of all ages, and is excited for the opportunity to serve the community in which she was raised.
Dr. Harris is happy to return to the Lowcounty where she spends much of her time with family and friends. She enjoys traveling, cooking, practicing yoga and being outdoors with her dog, Rudy. She also maintains her commitment to serve others through local and international mission work.
